Jessica Cosmetics – Gelato Mio! Summer 2012 Nail Colours Collection

Tonight, I am bringing you the new Gelato Mio! Collection from Jessica Cosmetics.  I knew when I opened the box, I had one of my favorite summer collections in front of me.  This perfect pastel cream collection suggests the mouthwatering flavors of Italian ice cream, and the endless possibility of long summer nights.

I used 2 coats of polish in each swatch, I love the easy-to-apply formula of Jessica polishes.  Even with my fair toned skin, I think I could easily pull off wearing any of the colors of the collection.  My daughter who has a nice deep tan right now looks great wearing them too.

Tangerine Dreamz

Banana Peel

Surfer Boyz ‘n Berry

Strawberry Shake It

Lime Cooler

Barely Blueberry

Did I mention that I love the names of the polishes?  As with all Jessica nail colours, Gelato Mio is formulated with vitamin A for maximum conditioning and UVA/UVB protection from the sun’s damaging rays.  They are quick-drying and eco-friendly, and big-3 free.  You can find them at www.jessicacosmetics.com and at salons and spas internationally.

The New York Times has called Jessica “The First Lady of Nails,” while Vogue dubbed the popular Beverly Hills, Calf. based nail expert the “Manicurist to the Stars.”

Have you tried Jessica Nail Polishes or any of their cosmetic lines yet?  This is my first time reviewing them, so please leave some comment love.

  1. Pretty shades – looking more like spring vs summer shades to me – but then we have been so hit with brights from most this summer. I never have tried Jessica anything – no one sells them anywhere for 1000+ miles of me. I have not bitten off to put in an on line order yet from this company.
